Cliffsnotes the Federalist Notes
Published in Paperback by Cliffs Notes (January, 1983)
Average review score:

The framers of the Constitution in their own wordsAn essential book for every American both young or old, male or female, Democrat or Republican. A delightful discovery on the need of God and guns (or perhaps swords) in the United States and the intolerance of a government in charge of all but answerable to noone. An undeniably perfect fit for todays culture.
Discover your roots from the men that gave their lives for the signing of the Constitution; true heroes. Their resolve was unquestionable and the love for country without reproach.
They brought us so far. We've walked away. Read it and weep. BK

CliffsNotes The House of the Seven Gables
Published in Digital by Hungry Minds ()
Average review score:

Absolutely EssentialThis little Cliffsnotes book absolutely saved my live in high school, when I was forced to write a term paper about this boring, plodding, stupefying, over-written, under-communicated, turgid, nauseating, putrid novel by Nate Hawthorne.
Cliffsnotes didn't make the real book any more interesting or valuable, but it certainly simplified the tale such that it could be understood and then written about. If you are ever unlucky enough to find yourself in a situation where you are forced to read HOSG, then you need to buy these Cliffsnotes immediately.

CliffsNotes The Merchant of Venice

i'd give it a ten! This play is very intresting! The play is funny and meaningful. It gives an insightful look on sexism and the way people react to life situations. The play pleads for peace and love.

CliffsNotes The Three Musketeers

The three musketeersThis wasn't the best that i've ever read. It was okay and kept my attention, but got confusing when the whole scam took off

CliffsNotes Treasure Island and Kidnapped
Published in Digital by Hungry Minds ()
Average review score:

Good BooksI thought these two books to be excellent. Treasure Island was a book that I wasn't quite sure that I would enjoy, but as I read further into it, I began to crave for more of R. L. Stevenson's works. So I decided to read Kidnapped. I'm part-way through it now. But I never expected them both to take place on boats. Well I new that Treasure Island's setting was mostly on a boat, but the way kidnapped began I never thought it would turn up to be another nautical novel!

CliffsQuickReview Writing: Grammar, Usage, and Style
Published in Digital by Hungry Minds ()
Average review score:

Excellent! After being out of college for twenty years, I wanted to review basic grammar and punctuation. So, I ordered a copy of this book -- Writing: Grammar, Usage, and Style -- by Cliffs Quick Review. In a word, it was just what I was looking for, a clear and concise review of English grammar. Although the book is 240 pages long, it has just the right amount of detail and examples without overdoing it. One can read it from front to back (as I am doing) without getting too bogged-down in detail. Or, the work could serve as a ready reference guide to basic grammar and punctuation. It's not just for students, but for anyone who wants to improve their writing skills. Highly recommended!

College Algebra (Barron's Ez 101 Study Keys)

Average review score:

Great quick refresher , with short to-the-point examplesThis book does a hell of a good job reminding us of the quick rules and formulas of college algebra. Examples are given for every instance, and in most cases are exactly what the doctor ordered. A great quick reference, can't go wrong here for 6 bucks! Many thanks to the author!!

College Algebra: Barron's Study Guides
Published in Paperback by Barrons Educational Series (December, 1962)
Average review score:

Most completely thourough, useful book I have ever found. This publication must not be allowed to go out of print. It is by far the finest book, with the most complete coverage of algebra that this reader has ever bought. The subject matter ranges from the most basic, to advanced algebra yet does not sacrifice clarity and detail.
